DAY 1

MORNING

Start your morning off with breakfast in Barrio Santa Cruz, a beautiful area of Seville that’s conveniently close to most of the main attractions!

After you’ve fueled up for the day head over to the Catedral de Sevilla. This beautiful monument is hard to miss and a must see destination in Spain. It’s the third largest church in the world and it’s also a great escape from the Spanish heat. If you’re looking to get some extra steps in, explore the La Giralda (bell tower) that’s connected to the cathedral. Climbing the 35 ramps that lead to the top offers beautiful views of the city. I recommend getting your tickets to these destinations in advance to save some time in line. A ticket to enter the Cathedral and La Giralda is €12 for adults and just €6 for students!

AFTERNOON

Once you’ve finished exploring the cathedral, grab some tapas for lunch nearby, then head next door to the Royal Alcázar of Seville. This royal palace dates back to the 10th century, you may even recognize its stunning architecture that’s been featured in many films including the Game of Thrones, Warrior Nun, and Emerald City. General admission tickets are €13.50 through the official website but I recommend getting a guided tour on GetYourGuide for a more indepth experience!

EVENING

After exploring the Royal Alcázar, head over to see the Setas de Sevilla. This monument is a large wooden structure shaped like a mushroom. The views from the bottom are good but if you want to explore it further you can purchase a ticket to enter for €15. It’s a great place to watch the sunset from. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in this area to grab a bite to eat and finish out your day here.

DAY 2

MORNING

Grab some breakfast then head over to Plaza de España. This beautiful park is one of the most recognisable parts of Seville. It’s easy to spend an hour here walking around taking it all in. It’s also great for taking photos in front of you! While you’re here, definitely check out the Parque de María Luisa as well. Located just in front of the plaza, is a great place to connect with nature and view pretty gardens!

AFTERNOON

Head across the river to Barrio de Triana, a lively neighbourhood that highlights the charm of this city. While here be sure to hit Mercado de Triana, it’s the perfect place to grab a yummy lunch.

EVENING

To end your night grab some tapas, then head over to the Flamenco Dance Museum for an exciting show! Tickets start at €25 and make for a fabulous night.

CONCLUDING THE ITINERARY…

This itinerary offers an in depth guide to make the most of your weekend in Seville. While packed with suggestions, remember to embrace your own pace and preferences to fully savour your time in the city. The goal of this itinerary is to streamline your experience, allowing you to see the most without unnecessary back-and-forth travel. Seville’s rich history and architectural wonders await.
